Brian K. Fikar, 41, of Platte City, MO. passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 6th at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete, NE. Brian was born March 23, 1971 in Crete NE to Larry Frank Fikar and Ruth A. Keenan (Hogue). He grew up in Crete, NE and Graduated from Crete High School in 1989. After high school, Brian Attended Doane College in Crete, NE. He married Renea Hunt on April 12, 1997 in Grand Island, NE. Brian and Renea moved to Fort Worth TX where they lived for ten years and then moved to Platte City in 2009. Brian worked for The Platte Valley Bank as a Personal Banker. He loved football and was an Avid Huskers fan. Brian loved his family and his son Alex. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Velma Fikar, and Robert Hogue. He is survived by His wife, Renea and son Alex Fikar of the home, His Parents Larry Fikar of Crete, NE, mother Ruth Keenan of Lincoln, NE, Brothers Chad Fikar(Laura) of Adams, NE, Kirk Fikar(Becky) of Lincoln, NE, Sister Jaci Miller(Josh) of Harrison AR, Maternal Grandmother Lou Hogue of Lincoln, NE, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
