Sarah M. Wampler, 72, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at her home in Dearborn, MO. A visitation will be held 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, at Vaughn-Aufranc Funeral Home in Dearborn. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 14, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Dearborn Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be given to Three Rivers Hospice. Sarah was born April 5, 1940 in St. Joseph, MO to Ralph Adolph and Effie Jane (Murphy) Boller. She was raised, and graduated from high school in St. Joseph, finally moving to Dearborn in 1962. Sarah married Tex Maynard Wampler, Sr. on April 10, 1959 in Dearborn. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dearborn. Sarah loved being a homemaker who enjoyed sitting outside looking at her flowers; and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by: her parents; 1 son Mark Daniel Wampler; 4 brothers Frank, Henry, Lawrence, and James Clarence Boller; and 3 sisters Bertha Free, Harriet Stagner, and Bonnie Zberski. Sarah is survived by: her husband, Tex of the home; her son Tex Wampler, Jr. and his wife Regina of Adrian, MO; her daughter Michelle Johnson and her husband Brad of Dearborn; her brother Jonathan Boller and his wife Wanda of St. Joseph; her sister Betty Herbert of St. Joseph; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
